Content Management 101

Learn about content management, online publishing, and online marketing from industry professionals.

We are absolutely delighted with Sitellite 4.2! It is quite fantastic! It really empowers both our users and ourselves. It is such a pleasure to use and every day I spend with it, I learn more and respect it more. You have done an unbelievably good job with this software. I have to say that our business users are really impressed and happy too. There is nothing that compares with this software.

Open Source

We at Simian believe in giving something back when possible.  One area we have benefited as a company immensely from the hard work of others is Open Source software.  That is why we offer the following software under Open Source licenses:

Sitellite GPL Edition
A community edition of the Sitellite CMS which is limited to the core CMS and a handful of Open Source add-ons.  The Sitellite.org community website also offers tutorials, courses, and other free documentation and support options.

SiteForge Collaborative Development Platform
A software project management application with a focus on distributed collaborative development in the style of Open Source.  SiteForge's original purpose for development was for use as a project hosting area for Sitellite CMS based applications.

SiteInvoice Account Manager
SiteInvoice helps you manage your customer invoices in a simple and efficient manner. Customers receive personalized email notices with invoices attached as PDFs, with reminders sent at 30, 45, and 60 days.  Handles multiple currencies and taxes. Never lose track of money you or your company are owed again.

phpBeans
phpBeans is a simple, fast, and stateful Remote Method Invocation (RMI) specification for PHP and other scripting languages. phpBeans consists of an object server daemon (in PHP) and a client library (available in PHP and Ruby with others to follow). This allows you to create ordinary PHP objects on one machine, and call them remotely as if they were real objects on the client machine.
